Are you ready to explore and really get to know Philadelphia? The always-adventurous Delaware Valley Chapter has engaged a unique activity that will be the talk of ICRI for years! Get ready for the Wild Amazing Liberty Bell Chase – a “mashup” team building scavenger hunt that is equal parts physical, psychological, and just plain phenomenal! Teams will be formed and, using a proprietary app, will be tasked with a series of photo, video, and trivia challenges – all delivered as “clues” in the style of The Amazing Race.

As always, nothing is ever as simple as it seems and, as you race toward the finish line, you will find yourself facing detours with physical and mental challenges! It is here that teams must collaborate and successfully complete these challenges to earn the clue that will send you on to your next destination.

Participants will all receive vouchers for lunch along the way. There is no better way to get to know this amazing city while meeting new people, challenging your mind, all while having more fun than you can shake a liberty bell at. The event will conclude at The Field House where you will celebrate team spirit, confidence, and a collaborative sense of accomplishment.

The friendliness of the Delaware Valley Chapter will be on full display with a spectacular evening at The Franklin Institute, one of the oldest and most beloved science museums in the country. Founded in honor of America’s first scientist, Benjamin Franklin, The Franklin Institute is the premier center of science education and development. In the spirit of inquiry and discovery embodied by Benjamin Franklin, the mission of The Franklin Institute is to inspire a passion for learning about science and technology.

Guests will visit select areas of the museum, have a chance to meet with Ben Franklin himself! (via Philly’s preeminent Franklin impersonator), and listen to the best in live entertainment as local band Blue Bone (Burnin’ Blues & Smokin’ Boogie) takes the stage. Delaware Valley Chapter Leader Van Burriss provides Blue Bone’s vocals and bass guitar!

Don’t worry, the Chapter has not overlooked your evening refreshment or nourishment. There will be an open bar as well as plenty of food with the Love Philly Buffet (featuring mini Philly cheesesteaks, mini calzones, and soft pretzels), an Asian Noodle Bar, and select treats from a Down Home BBQ spread. Dessert and coffee also provided.
